Kathy Cano-Murillo, The Crafty Chica™, is an artist, author, and speaker who specializes in Latina-style DIY and crafts, storytelling, and entrepreneurship. A fourth-generation maker and a third-generation Mexi-chica from Phoenix, she has authored a book about the life of Frida Kahlo as well as several craft books and novels and has created product lines and collabs with national brands.
In this workshop, you will explore reverse glass painting, a traditional art form that has renewed interest recently. This is a special event available for Museum Members only. Generously sponsored by The Wellik Foundation.
