The Museum will roll out the welcome mat to active-duty military and their families by offering free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families as part of the Blue Star Museums program. The Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America, including the DCWM. This year’s Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day Saturday, May 20, 2023, and ends on Labor Day, Monday*, September 4, 2023. ID required.
*The DCWM will be closed on Monday, September 4.
